Full time

Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks related to hiring, salary and position change, status change, and employment termination and reactivation files. 
  • Act as a point of contact for store and human resources managers in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. 
  • Perform weekly payroll preparation and verification for store staff across Canada. 
  • Prepare records of employment, as well as documentation pertaining to group insurance, RRSP/DPSP, CNESST, SAAQ, alimony, etc. 
  • Ensure that the specifics of statutory holidays are processed according to each province's legislation. 
  • Issue T-4 and RL-1 slips. 
  • Perform various related administrative duties. 

Requirements: 

  • Ability to handle multiple files simultaneously and work under pressure within set deadlines. 
  • Outstanding team player that enjoys working in a dynamic environment. 
  • Highly methodical approach.
  • Rigour, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Technical training in administration (or equivalent experience) and extensive experience in payroll preparation.
  • Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with employees nationwide.
