Full time
Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks related to hiring, salary and position change, status change, and employment termination and reactivation files.
- Act as a point of contact for store and human resources managers in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia.
- Perform weekly payroll preparation and verification for store staff across Canada.
- Prepare records of employment, as well as documentation pertaining to group insurance, RRSP/DPSP, CNESST, SAAQ, alimony, etc.
- Ensure that the specifics of statutory holidays are processed according to each province's legislation.
- Issue T-4 and RL-1 slips.
- Perform various related administrative duties.
Requirements:
- Ability to handle multiple files simultaneously and work under pressure within set deadlines.
- Outstanding team player that enjoys working in a dynamic environment.
- Highly methodical approach.
- Rigour, professionalism, and discretion.
- Technical training in administration (or equivalent experience) and extensive experience in payroll preparation.
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with employees nationwide.
