Fashion communication coordinator

This position is for a fixed term of 12 to 18 months.
Reporting to the VP of Buying, the Coordinator has a strong grasp of their team’s vision within the Buying department and skillfully acts as a bridge between this team and the various related sectors (stores, photo studio, advertising, visual presentation, and social media), with the goal of ensuring consistency and impact in fashion messaging across all channels.
Responsibilities
- Create seasonal communication tools and present them to the various departments.
- Maintain regular contact with the e-commerce, advertising, and in-store teams to ensure that fashion messages are well understood and accurately interpreted.
- Ensure consistency and complementarity of assortments across all channels.
- Collaborate with different sectors to strengthen both web and in-store impact.
- Identify trends and fashion or commercial opportunities not yet covered by the buying teams.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in communication or any other relevant experience.
- Be fluent in both French and English, spoken and written, in order to communicate effectively with our stores across Canada./li>
- Demonstrate ease and adaptability with computer tools (proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite).
- Maintain a professional approach rooted in humility, thoroughness, and teamwork.
- Show a strong interest in fashion and emerging trends. Have experience or education in fashion or marketing (asset).
- Experience with visual software tools such as Photoshop (asset).
