Solutions Architect

La Maison Simons is a key player in the retail industry and is currently undergoing a major digital transformation. In a complex technological environment where data flows across multiple systems – ERP, e-commerce platforms, points of sale, OMS, and logistics solutions – our goal is to build a software architecture that is coherent, robust, and scalable.

To support this vision, we are seeking a Solutions Architect who can design integrated, sustainable, and business-aligned software solutions that meet our evolving needs.

Role summary

As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing software solutions that ensure smooth and efficient data integration between heterogeneous platforms, while aligning with business processes.

You will serve as a bridge between business needs and technical requirements, ensuring architectural decisions are consistent with strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design software architectures focused on the integration of distributed systems (REST APIs, events, message queues, etc.).
• Implement solutions using Java Spring Boot for application components.
• Design efficient event pipelines using Apache Kafka to enable real-time data flow and facilitate data reuse across platforms.
• Produce architectural specifications (both technical and functional), technical documentation, and integration standards.
• Define data flows between systems, considering business rules, dependencies, and operational constraints.

Desired Profile

• University degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in solutions architecture within a multi-system context (retail, supply chain, ERP, etc.).
• Proficiency in Java / Spring Boot and in event-driven architecture concepts (microservices, APIs, topics).
• Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka for managing distributed event streams.
