As a Strategy and Corporate Governance Analyst, you will support decision-making bodies by transforming data into strategic information and contributing to the implementation and ongoing development of governance frameworks and practices. Reporting to the Executive Director, Strategy and Corporate Governance, the person who will hold this position will also work closely with the various internal partners.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out a strategic watch on competitive, economic, financial and regulatory trends.
- Compile, analyze, synthesize various data (competitive, financial, economic, environmental, operational) to support the strategic thinking and positioning of the company.
- Participate in the development and monitoring of the strategic plan and its performance indicators.
- Contribute to the detection and analysis of business opportunities as well as the identification, assessment and mitigation of business risks.
- Collaborate on special or cross-functional projects that support the company's strategic priorities.
- Support the ongoing development of governance practices and the support of large-scale investment projects.
Requirements:
- Hold an undergraduate degree in administration, finance, economics or any other related discipline and have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in retail.
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrate the ability to interpret complex data, identify meaningful trends and transform it into actionable insights.
- Demonstrate excellent logical, structured and sequential analytical skills.
- Be autonomous, rigorous and show initiative.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective business relationships.
- Be able to express oneself in French and English, both orally and in writing, to communicate effectively with Francophone and Anglophone stakeholders, as well as to work on projects, systems and tools in English.
