The person in this role stands out for their exceptional organizational skills and strong desire to support the various members within their team. In addition to playing a key administrative role in our buying department, they are at the heart of ensuring our operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the buying team
- Contribute to the progress of ongoing files and projects within the department
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of fashion plans
- Manage transactional aspects of fashion orders and samples
- Handle emails and correspondence with suppliers located both in Canada and internationally
- Coordinate business travel for members of the buying team
Requirements
- Hold an AEC or DEC in administration or have other relevant experience
- Be meticulous and thorough, with a genuine desire to help others
- Have strong organizational skills
- Be resourceful and comfortable using digital tools, especially the Microsoft Office suite
- Communicate effectively, both spoken and written, in French and English, in order to liaise with suppliers around the world
